Android and iPhone Compatible. Customers can use their smart phone as a remote control to open the lock via touch screen or by voice command. Track and monitor hardware functionality and receive alert messages if there is lock mechanism damage, solenoid damage, and cable interconnection damage that can happen over time from improper maintenance or as a result of an improper installation. Customers can monitor lock usage and be prompted for maintenance by Push Notification via Email or Text Messages. Customers can be informed about important product notifications and product updates while keeping them engaged with their local mobility service shop for the life of the product. Like an odometer in the dash of a vehicle, the EZ Lock App will monitor the number of times the lock was used from the date of installation and will monitor the number of times the lock was used between maintenance dates. Other Bluetooth devices on the market including ones already owned and used by the customer can be connected to the EZ Lock System Bluetooth System. An EZ Lock Software Development Kit (SDK) and/or Application Programming Interface (API) will allow other mobility manufacturers to build EZ Lock monitoring and controls directly into their products. In today’s world, EZ Lock will continuing to provide a safe and reliable product while pushing the boundaries to move away from the discrete world of blinks, beeps, and buzzes into a digital future of highly visible LED lights, concise verbal voice notifications, and intuitive application features using our common everyday phones and tablets. Our electronics have a reputation for dependability. The touchpad control has an array of clearly visible indicators to monitor the docking status of the wheelchair, an audible alarm, and large back-lit buttons for release and system deactivation.
The green light indicates the wheelchair is fully engaged in the docking base. The yellow light indicates the wheelchair is NOT fully engaged with the docking base. The user must exit the docking base and re-attempt until fully engaged. We have also included a new optional voice notification module and speaker to better alert the user of the lock status. The voice module will let you know if your chair is properly locked. It can also inform the user the lock requires maintenance.
